Animal-assisted Interventions
Dogs trained to participate in goal-based interventions that promote health and wellness
The inclusion of animals is great motivation for participation in activities for people of all ages. Animal-assisted interventions can lead to personal and social development, increased self-esteem, improved mental and physical health, better social skills, and increased empathy.
Our interactive, hands-on animal-assisted intervention programs are individualized to meet the needs of participants. We offer three types of interventions: therapeutic, educational, and recreational activities. Sessions can be tailored for an individual or groups.
